Overview
A portfolio website for a film editor, created to present his work in a clearer, more intentional, and less template-driven way.
The project combined a custom frontend with an embedded Sanity Studio, giving the client control over key portfolio content without needing to edit code.

Challenges
What needed to be solved.
The previous portfolio was difficult to use and felt too generic for the quality of work being presented.
The new experience needed to showcase selected projects, support a full works archive, and allow the client to update content independently.
The CMS structure needed to stay simple enough for non-technical use while still supporting rich project details, testimonials, and homepage content.
Approach
How the work was structured.
Built a responsive portfolio experience focused on letting the work lead.
Structured Sanity around the sections the client needed to update most: hero content, selected works, full work details, and testimonials.
Created a full works page and work details modal to support deeper project exploration without making the homepage feel overloaded.
Migrated existing content into the CMS and onboarded the client so future updates could happen directly from Sanity.
Added contact handling and SEO support to make the site more complete as a production portfolio.
Outcome
What the experience became.
The finished portfolio gives the client a clearer way to present his work and a simpler way to keep the site current.
Content updates were moved from code changes into CMS edits, enabling the client to publish, update, and remove portfolio content independently.
